Board Meeting minutes
May 10, 2010
Attendees: Jeanie Roberts, Carey Crites, Emilie Pank, Lynda Smith, Chris Komora, Paul Pank, Sharon Crites, Terri Cutter, Del Moeller, Ann C. Smith, Linda Kalkhoff, Candy Reese, Kayla Ortman, and John Bokelman.
President Lynda Smith called the Meeting to order.
The minutes from the April meeting were approved.
The Treasurer’s report was approved. Sharon Crites moved and Chris Komora seconded a motion to donate monies received in memory of Bill Smith to the Arc Endowment Fund.
Terri Cutter, County Report.
One client started a new job at Goodwill.
Eric Elkins is the new employment specialist.
Client work remains fairly steady.
The Gala went well…Profited $3500
Del Moeller will check on getting the awning repaired. (Snowplow damage)
Jeanie Roberts spoke for the Self-Advocacy group. Topics for their next meeting (May 17th) will probably include the need for fundraising events.
Lynda Smith, Building Pathways Training session May 13th. Includes a training overview and Building Pathways Training.
Chris Komora, The Arc website. More information is needed for the website. Teresa Hooten will forward minutes to Chris. The group agreed that coordinator Teresa Hooten should be the Arc person in charge of the website. Chris can be contacted on the website, the Webmaster.
John Bokelman, hayride.
The fairboard has requested a copy of our insurance. Paul Pank will check on liability insurance for events and get back with John. The hayride is scheduled for June 12, from 6-9 p.m.
Next meeting is June 14th at 6:30 p.m.
